JSSC CGL Paper Leak: The Jharkhand Staff Selection Commission (JSSC) has canceled one paper of General Graduate Qualifying Combined Competitive Examination (JSSC CGL) 2023. According to the notification issued by JSSC, the General Knowledge examination held in the third shift on January 28, 2024, has been canceled due to a paper leak. The new date of examination will be announced soon on the website.

Candidates have been waiting for the Jharkhand CGL 2023 exam for a long time. This exam has been postponed many times before. The examination started on January 28 and is set to conclude on February 4. But on the very first day of the commencement of the examination, the issue of paper leak came to light.

Former Chief Minister of Jharkhand Babulal Marandi has demanded a CBI investigation into the paper leak case. Marandi said that many students have released the answer sheets on social media and as well as on WhatsApp. “This matter should be investigated by CBI,” he said.

There are a total of three papers in the JSSC CGL exam. The first is a language paper in which questions in Hindi and English are asked. Whereas, the second paper is on regional and tribal languages, and the third paper is on General Knowledge. Those who clear the prelims exam will be called to appear for the mains exam followed by a document verification process.

Through Jharkhand CGL or JGGLCCE 2023, there will be recruitment for various posts Group B and C posts including JSA, Planning Assistant, and Block Supply Officer. There are a total of 2025 vacancies in these posts.

As per the requirements set by the Jharkhand Staff Selection Commission (JSSC), candidates applying for JSSC CGL recruitment must hold a bachelor’s degree or equivalent from a recognised university.

The salary offered to candidates selected for different positions may vary, as stated in the recruitment notification. The salary structure for an Assistant Branch Officer is between Rs 44,900 to Rs 1,42,400, Junior Secretariat Assistant is between Rs 19,900 to Rs 63,200, Planning Assistant is between Rs 29,200 to Rs 92,300, and Block Supply Officer is between Rs 35,400 to Rs 1,12,400.
