Bihar Boy Secures 90th Rank In BPSC 68th CCE Final Without Coaching
Raj Bhushan Singh did intermediate schooling at Loyola High School, Patna. After that, he did a B.Tech. from Manipal University, Jaipur.

It is said there is no shortcut to success except hard work and determination. Recently, Raj Bhushan Singh, the son of an ordinary family, proved it right. Raj Bhushan Singh has secured the 90th rank in the Bihar Public Service Commission (BPSC) 68th final examination CCE 2023 on his second attempt with his hard work and without the help of any coaching institute. He is all set to now become a revenue officer.

Reports suggest that Raj Bhushan Singh comes from a middle-class family in Brahmpur, a village in the Dumraon sub-division of Buxar district. Last year, his younger brother, Ashish Bhushan Singh, also passed the ISRO scientist exam.

Raj Bhushan Singh’s father, Bharat Bhushan Singh, is the President of Raghunathpur Vyapar Mandal, Brahmpur PACS President, and District President of the PACS Association. His mother Kiran Singh is a housewife. His grandfather, Markandey Singh, had been a district councillor.

Bharat Bhushan Singh said in a media interaction that from the beginning he had been serious about giving good education to the children. Therefore, after keeping both the sons in the village for a few years during their childhood, he sent them to Patna.

He further said that Raj Bhushan, after completing his primary education in the village, did matriculation and intermediate schooling at Loyola High School, Patna. After that, he got a B.Tech. from Manipal University, Jaipur. Then he started preparing for competitive examinations.

Raj shared that during this time he had only received guidance from his parents and he did not join any coaching for these exams. He stayed at home and studied for 8 to 10 hours a day. As a result, he got success in BPSC in the second attempt. He also reached the interview on the first attempt.

He further said that at present he has become a revenue officer, but his dream is to serve the country by becoming an IAS officer in the future. For this, he has started preparing for UPSC. As a tip for the upcoming candidates, he told the aspirants to read good and limited books diligently.
