The SBI Probationary Officer (PO) 2023 interview, group exercise, and psychometric exam tentative dates have been released by the State Bank of India (SBI). Candidates who have taken the main examination can check the interview dates on the SBI’s official website, sbi.co.in. According to the official announcement, psychometric tests will begin on January 16, and group exercises and personal interviews (at LHO facilities) will begin on January 21.

Candidates who are shortlisted after the main exam will be subjected to a psychometric test (Phase III) for personality profiling. For generating the final merit list, the marks acquired in the Main Examination (Phase II), both in the Objective Test and the Descriptive Test, shall be added to the marks obtained in Phase III. The preliminary Examination (Phase-I) marks will not be added while creating the final merit list for selection. Candidates must qualify in both Phase II and Phase III individually.

The main exam was held on December 5, 2023, at several exam locations throughout the country. The examination was divided into two sections, objective and descriptive, and successful candidates who passed the main exam would advance to the Group activity/interview stage. Candidates who passed the preliminary examination were entitled to take the main exam. The SBI PO Prelims Exam was held on November 1, 4, and 6, 2023, and the results were released on November 21, 2023.

This recruitment drive will fill up vacancies for about 2000 PO posts in the organization. According to the eligibility criteria, the candidate needed a bachelor’s degree in any discipline from a recognised university or any other qualification recognised by the Central Government. Interested applicants who were in their last year or semester of their courses could also apply. However, if they are invited for the interview round, they must provide proof of graduation. Furthermore, the applicant should be between the ages of 21 and 30 Candidates from the reserved categories will have their age limits reduced.

Meanwhile, the State Bank of India has commenced the SBI Clerk Preliminary Examination 2024 for Junior Associate (Clerk) jobs. The exam is set for January 5, 6, 11, and 12. For verification purposes, registered applicants must bring a printed copy of their SBI Clerk Prelims admit card 2024 to the exam centre, along with a valid identity card. This recruitment drive aims to select applicants for 8773 Junior Associate (JA) positions.
