PM to Inaugurate Amrit Bharat Express from Ayodhya, 6 Vande Bharat Trains on Dec 30
To give a better connectivity, and enhance Ayodhya's train network, Railways soon to introduce a mega plan. It will include Vande Bharat trains from prime cities, and connect them with Ayodhya.

In a move to provide a seamless travel experience to all the passengers and devotees, Ayodhya is all set to have its first First Amrit Bharat Express. Sources say that Prime Minister Narendra Modi will arrive in Ayodhya on December 30 to flag off two new Amrit Bharat trains, along with six Vande Bharat trains. However, an official confirmation is yet to be released for the same by PMO.

While confirming the news, a senior railway official says, “We have a grand event lined up, and the Prime Minister is likely to come on 30th Dec. This is the first time that the Amrit Bharat train is going to be launched. We are set to go with two sets initially, out of which one will be from Ayodhya.”

Amrit Bharat Express Route

Among all the trains, one of the Amrit Bharat Express will run on the Ayodhya-Darbhanga route, departing from Ayodhya railway station on the above-mentioned date. While the second one will provide the service in South India.

Other Vande Bharat trains Routes

Talking about the remaining Vande Bharat trains, they will run on different routes, out of which one will connect Ayodhyya to Anand Vihar (Delhi). The other routes include Vaishno Devi to New Delhi, Jalna to Mumbai, Coimbatore to Bengaluru, Amritsar to Delhi, and Mangaluru Central to Madgaon.

All About Amrit Bharat Express

As per the official details, the non-AC Amrit Bharat Express will be equipped with 22 coaches, featuring 12 second-class 3-tier sleeper cars, 8 general second-class coaches, and two guard compartments.

There will be separate coaches in guard compartments, which will offer space for ladies and differently-abled passengers. The train will run at an average speed of 130 kmph. However, the speed might fluctuate, depending on the track.

Ayodhya’s Train Network in Future

Meanwhile, to give a better connectivity, and enhance Ayodhya’s train network, Railways soon to introduce a mega plan. It will include Vande Bharat trains from prime cities, and connect them with Ayodhya. The move will provide a smooth travel experience for pilgrims who wish to travel to Ayodhya in the future.
