It is the fight that every superbike and supercar has been waiting for, as now they will have a clear answer to the ‘car vs bike’ argument.
The competitors are two of the most exotic, fastest and the most extreme machines – the LaFerrari and the KTM SuperDuke 1290. Both of these machines competing in any way is exciting in itself but when you make it a tug of war, the excitement reaches a new high.
To put things into perspective, the Ferrari is powered by a 6.3-litre naturally aspirated engine which, in combination to an electric motor, produces 923 horsepower and over 900 Nm of torque. The KTM SuperDuke 1290 on the other hand is powered by a 2-cylinder liquid-cooled engine that pumps out 177.5 horsepower and 125 Nm of torque. Now the power figures may tell you the story that the Ferrari will pull the KTM so hard that it will be tossed out of the galaxy, but then, there are factors like number of tyres, traction, weight, power to weight ratio and hosts of other things that need to be taken into account.
The ending is a little abrupt, but looks like the Ferrari ultimately wins. The KTM did not go down without a fight though, and surprisingly, managed to hold the car in place for quite some time. Some might call this video a hoax, we leave it for you to decide.
