Ajay Devgn Reveals Film With R Madhavan, Jyotika Titled Shaitaan; Shares Spine Chilling Poster

It was previously revealed that Ajay Devgn is working on an untitled film with R Madhavan and Jyotika. On Friday, Ajay took to his Instagram account and not only revealed the title of the film but also shared a chilling poster featuring the release date. Ajay revealed that the film will be titled Shaitaan, hinting that the film will feature supernatural thriller elements. The poster did not feature the cast. However, it had a set of what seems to be Voodoo dolls.

Sharing the poster, Ajay wrote, “#Shaitaan is coming for you. Taking over cinemas on 8th March 2024.” The actor is not only starring in the film but is also co-producing it. The film is being directed by Vikas Bahl. Check out the post below:

Shaitaan marks Jyotika’s first Bollywood film in 25 years. She made her acting debut with Doli Saja Ke Rakhna, in Hindi, back in 1997. She then explored the Tamil film industry and made a mark for herself in the South. She returned to Bollywood in 2001 for the bilingual film Little John.

Speaking of Shaitaan, the film is presented by Jio Studios, Devgn Films and Panorama Studios. It is being produced by Ajay Devgn, Jyoti Deshpande, Kumar Mangat Pathak and Abhishek Pathak and directed by Vikas Bahl. It is set to theatrically release on 8th March 2024.

Besides Shaitaan, Ajay will also be seen in Rohit Shetty’s Singham 3 aka Singham Again this year. The film also stars Deepika Padukone, Ranveer Singh, Tiger Shroff, Akshay Kumar and Deepika Padukone. Ajay also has Raid 2 in the kitty. The actor is also waiting to release his sports film, Maidaan.

Ajay Devgn told Pinkvilla, “Maidaan is one of my best films. We (the producers, the director & all actors) think it needs a big and proper release. The film’s VFX is being handled by international studios and we want everything to align properly. Keeping the best interests of the film in mind, we have now decided to release the film on May 12, 2023.”
