New Delhi: Banking on Brand Narendra Modi is likely to result in huge benefits for India, analysts said. Taking part in the discussion on Brand India under PM Modi, Republic of Korea Ambassador Joon-Gyu Lee said, "India has risen as a nation of hope. Korean people were very much impressed by Modi's vision, zeal and development agendas."
Relating 'Brand India' with 'Brand Modi', MD and CEO of Futurebrands India Ltd Santosh Desai said, ""The sense of intention is being appreciated. This is a spike of hope. This feeling that world must transform under my watch is impactful."
The same views were echoed by other participants at Network18's Modi Sarkar Year One Dialogue. Former Indian Ambassador to France and Germany TCA Rangachari said, "Today, a common shopkeeper can get a positive response from Modi's image. This is not at all a disadvantage."
The 2014 Lok Sabha elections were historic as it was the first time that any party other than the Congress won an absolute majority on its own. The Bharatiya Janata Party registered its record win on May 16, 2014 by winning 282 seats under Modi's leadership.
