An American employee of Infosys Technologies Ltd has filed a lawsuit against the company.
New Delhi: An American employee of Infosys Technologies Ltd has filed a lawsuit against the company alleging systematic visa and tax fraud.
The lawsuit alleges misuse of the B1 visa which permits Indian techies a four-month stay in the US.
As per US norms B1 visa holders are not allowed to be paid.
The case is being looked into by the Secretary, Homeland Security, USA.
Infosys sources admitted that it will have impact on the company but says it uses a negligible amount of B1 visas.
