Rajinikanth-starrer Thalaivar 170’s Second Schedule Underway In Kanyakumari: Report

Rajinikanth took the entertainment world by storm with his recently-released film Jailer. Now, he is all set to mesmerise his fans once again with his captivating presence in the upcoming movie with director TJ Gnanavel. The film, tentatively titled Thalaivar 170, reportedly went on floors recently. According to reports, the first schedule of the film will be shot at Kanyakumari and Thiruvananthapuram, Kerala. After completing the first leg of the schedule in Thiruvananthapuram, Rajinikanth reached Chennai to shoot the second leg in Kanyakumari. Currently, the shooting of the film is going on in the Panakudi area bordering Kanyakumari district. If the reports are to be believed, Thalaivar 170 is also expected to be shot near Shangumugham. During the shooting in Kanyakumari, thousands of Rajinikanth fans flocked to the spot to see a glimpse of the actor. Police were deployed for security. Soon after the shooting of the film ended, Rajinikanth came out to greet his fans and meet them.

The total days of shoot in the specific region would continue for about 10 days. During his interaction with media representatives at Chennai airport, Rajinikanth shared some details about the film and stated, “I’m doing my 170th film with director Gnanavel and Lyca which will be a huge entertainer at the same time with a social message.”

Earlier in the beginning of the month, the producers of the film, Lyca Productions, also informed on X, “Lights Camera Clap & ACTION. With our Superstar @rajinikanth and the stellar cast of #Thalaivar170 the team is all fired up and ready to roll! Hope you all enjoyed the #ThalaivarFeast Now it’s time for some action! We’ll come up with more updates as the shoot progresses…!”

Amitabh Bachchan is all set to collaborate with Rajinikanth after three decades in Thalaivar 170. If this wasn’t enough, the film also has some notable names like Fahadh Faasil, Rana Daggubati, Manju Warrier, Rithika Singh, and Dushara Vijayan, which has created a huge buzz among the audience.

Thalaivar 170’s music will be composed by Anirudh Ravichander, who is garnering lots of applause for his impeccable work in Jailer and Jawan. He already has numerous projects in his kitty and will be composing music for Thalapathy Vijay’s Leo, Kamal Haasan’s Indian 2, Jr NTR’s Devara, and Ajith Kumar’s Vidaa Muyarchi. Reports also suggest that Anirudh will be composing music for Rajinikanth for a film with Lokesh Kanagaraj, that is tentatively titled Thalaivar 171.
