With five wickets under his belt, star India all-rounder Ravindra Jadeja played a crucial role in his side’s victory against England in the fourth Test in Ranchi. India claimed a five-wicket win in the penultimate game to seal the five-match Test series against the Ben Stokes-led side.
Following the series victory, Jadeja decided to pay tribute to legendary cricketer MS Dhoni in a unique fashion. Jadeja visited Dhoni’s residence in Ranchi and clicked pictures posing in front of the gate of the World Cup-winning skipper’s house. Sharing his fan-boy moment, the southpaw uploaded quite a few pictures on Instagram. “Fun to pose as a fan in front of the legend’s house MSD,” Jadeja wrote.

The camaraderie between Ravindra Jadeja and MS Dhoni has been quite special in both domestic and international circuits. While the duo were architects of innumerable famous victories for India, they have been equally instrumental in guiding Chennai Super Kings to Indian Premier League (IPL) titles as well.
In the last IPL season, Ravindra Jadeja had played the match-winning shot to earn Chennai Super Kings’ fifth trophy. Following the triumph, MS Dhoni was seen giving Jadeja a hug lifting him off the ground. The moment was etched in the memories of cricket enthusiasts and Jadeja wasted no time in making it his Instagram display picture in a bid to mark the victory.
Ravindra Jadeja even dedicated the IPL trophy to skipper MS Dhoni. “We did it for one and only “MS Dhoni. Mahi bhai aapke liye toh kuch bhi, [Mahi brother, anything for you],” Jadeja posted on social media platform X, formerly Twitter, sharing a couple of pictures of Dhoni along with the prized IPL trophy.

Chennai Super Kings will aim to defend their title this time and ahead of the next season they strengthened their squad with big acquisitions like Daryl Mitchell, Rachin Ravindra, Mustafizur Rehman and Shardul Thakur.
CSK will be involved in the IPL 2024 season opener against Royal Challengers Bangalore, scheduled to be played on March 22. In their next match, the MS Dhoni-led side will be up against Gujarat Titans on March 26. The Chennai-based franchise will be playing their first away match of the season against Delhi Capitals in Visakhapatnam on March 31.
