Following two losses on the road, they were expected to alter the pattern when tey hosted Sanju Samson’s Rajasthan Royals at home at the famous Wankhde, but the home game too ended in defeat for MI as the visitors claimed a massive win with 6 wickets and 27 deliveries left to spare.

As a result, MI occupy the bottom place in the league standings having not yet opened their account after the conclusion of three games. They will look for a turn in fortunes when they take on Delhi Capitals at home on the 7th of April.
