CTET January 2024: CBSE Set To Provide Provisional Answer Key On Official Website
Over 27 lakh applicants were enrolled for the CTET January 2024 test, comprising 9.58 lakh for Paper 1 (Class 1-5) and 17.35 lakh for Paper 2 (Class 6-8).

The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) conducted the Central Teacher Eligibility Test (CTET) on January 21. Candidates can access the CTET provisional answer key on the official website, ctet.nic.in.

As of now, CBSE has not officially communicated the specific release dates for the answer key and results. However, it is anticipated that the provisional answer key could be made available at any moment. Following its release, candidates will have an opportunity to challenge any discrepancies before the final results are declared.

CTET results are expected to be announced by February 15. It’s worth noting that the CTET is conducted twice a year, with the second session scheduled for April 2024.

For candidates keen on checking the CTET answer key, they can visit the official CTET website (ctet.nic.in) after its release. On the homepage, applicants will find the link to the CTET 2024 provisional answer keys. Clicking on this link will lead to a new page where candidates can enter their login credentials to access the answer key. After verification, the answer key will be displayed on the screen for candidates to review. It is advisable to download the answer key and retain a printout for future reference.

In a noteworthy development, the CTET mark sheet and eligibility certificate will be accessible on DigiLocker. CBSE will create DigiLocker accounts for all candidates, with login credentials sent to the mobile numbers registered with CBSE. This initiative aims to streamline the process for candidates to easily access and verify their mark sheets.

In the previous CTET examination held on August 20, 2023, the answer keys and corresponding OMR images were released on September 15. CBSE is expected to maintain this trend, with additional details regarding mark sheets and certificates through DigiLocker to be provided by the board in due course.

Over 27 lakh applicants were enrolled for the CTET January 2024 test, comprising 9.58 lakh for Paper 1 (Class 1-5) and 17.35 lakh for Paper 2 (Class 6-8).
