The Common University Cum Entrance Test (CUET) results were announced on July 28, 2024 by the National Testing Agency (NTA). After the announcement of the results, the counselling process is being conducting by the participating universities and colleges like DU, JNU AND JMI. The colleges and universities will shortly announce the dates for the counselling.
Candidates must register from the official website of the respective universities where they wish to seek admission. The admission fee depends upon the college and university. Each participating institution will release its own merit list based on CUET scores, indicating eligible candidates for the counselling process. The candidates will also need present documents such as their class 10 and 12 marksheets, CUET scorecard, admit card and other necessary documents like caste certificate, category, transfer and conduct certificates.
After document verification, candidates will be allotted seats based on their rank and preferences. They must then pay the admission fee to confirm their seats.
Admission process for Delhi University:
If a student is interested to get admission in DU then they must register themselves from the DU CSAS portal: admission.uod.ac.in. Candidates need to fill their academic and personal details and upload the necessary documents (class 10 and 12 marksheet, CUET scoreboard, category certificate) and other documents. The admission process in DU is mainly conducted in three phases. The university has not yet announced any dates to correct the DU CSAS portal for admission process.
Admission process in Jawaharlal Nehru University:
A candidate is eligible to apply for JNU from their official website: jnu.ac.in only if he or she has attained the specified cutoff in CUET. After filling all the required information and uploading documents, JNU will release a merit list based on the CUET score. If selected, the student will be offered a seat. Accept the offer by paying the seat confirmation fee within the specified timeframe.
Admission process for Jamia Millia Islamia:
Jamia Millia Islamia will close the registration process after 10 days from the declaration of the CUET results. Eligible candidates can apply from their official website: jmicoe.in. They need to fill up the form and give the required documents. The merit list will be based on the CUET scores. The university will call eligible candidates for further admission process, an official press note by Jamia stated
Spot Counselling:
If seats remain vacant after the initial rounds, universities may conduct spot counselling, Candidates who did not secure a seat initially may participate in this round by registering and attending the document verification process. Each university has different procedures and schedules, so it is important for the candidate to check their official website time to time.
