Indian Navy Announces Vacancies For Class 8 And 10 Pass Candidates

Indian Navy has opened up apprenticeship opportunities for 300 vacancies and the application process for these started today, April 23. An important aspect of these job opportunities is that candidates who have qualified for classes 8th and 10th will be able to apply for these vacancies. The aspirants need to click on the official website of the Indian Navy, i.e., indiannavy.nic.in.

Shipwrights – 18 posts

Welders – 15 vacancies

Machinists – 13 positions

Pipefitters – 13 posts

Painters – 9 posts

Instrument Mechanics – 7 posts

Sheet metal workers – 3 posts

Tailors – 3 posts

Pattern Makers – 3 jobs

Foundryman – 1 job

Interested aspirants can apply for the aforementioned vacancies by May 10.

Age limit and educational qualification

The minimum age to file the applications for these jobs is 14 and the maximum age is 18 years. For the jobs related to non-Industrial Training Institute trade, it is important to have qualified the class 8th. Aspirants looking for jobs related to the Department of Forger and Heat Treaters are required to have cleared the class 10th.

Physical Requirement

In the physical requirement section, the height of the candidate should not be less than 150 cm and weight should not be less than 45 kg. The chest of the candidate should not measure less than 5 cm after expansion. Also, the eye vision rate should be 6/6 to 6/9.

Selection Process

The candidates are required to clear a written examination and those who manage to clear it will be shortlisted for the interview round. The interview will be the final round of the selection process. The selected candidates will be paid a stipend of Rs 7700-8050 per month.

Also, a proficiency level in Mathematics is a requirement to get selected in the Indian Navy. Be it at an intermediate level or after an undergraduate degree the aspirants cannot write the Indian Navy examination without expertise in mathematics. Physics and Mathematics are compulsory subjects to get inducted into the Indian army.
