The Jharkhand Academic Council (JAC) has released the results for the Class 10 (Matric) board exam 2024 today, April 19. Students who appeared for the exam can now visit the official websites of JAC at jacresults.com, jac.jharkhand.gov.in, or jharresults.nic.in to check their results.

Candidates can access their results by entering their roll numbers on the designated portal. To pass the JAC Class 10 exam 2024, candidates must secure a minimum of 33 per cent in both theory and practical combined in each subject. Additionally, they must achieve a minimum aggregate of 33 per cent across all subjects to clear the exam.
This year, the board exams were conducted from February 6 to February 26, with two shifts each day. The Class 10 exam occurred in the first shift from 9:45 AM to 1:05 PM, while the Class 12 exam took place in the second shift from 2 PM to 5:20 PM. A total of 7.6 lakh candidates appeared for the Class 10 and Class 12 (Inter) examinations this year. Among them, over 4.2 lakh students appeared for the Class 10 examination, while 3.4 lakhs appeared for the intermediate exam.
JAC Class 10 Result 2024: Last Year’s Pass Percentage
The pass percentages have seen fluctuations in recent years. In the previous year’s Class 10 exams, the overall pass percentage stood at 95.38 per cent. For the Class 12 (Inter) exams, the pass percentage was 81.45 per cent for the science stream, 88.60 per cent for the commerce stream, and 95.97 per cent for the arts stream.
In the 2022 board examinations, a total of 3,99,010 students appeared, with 3,73,893 students successfully passing the exam. This resulted in an overall pass percentage of 95.60 per cent. Comparatively, girls achieved a pass percentage of 95.50 per cent, while boys slightly surpassed them with a pass percentage of 95.70 per cent.
Talking about the year 2021, a total of 4,33,571 students took the board exam, and the pass rates increased significantly from previous years, with an overall pass percentage of 95.93 per cent.
In 2020, 3,85,144 students took the exams, and the overall pass percentage was 75.01 per cent, whereas in 2019, a total of 4,38,256 students took the exams, with a pass rate of 70.77 per cent.
