NICAL AO Recruitment 2024 Notification Out, Application Begins For 170 Administrative Officers Posts

The New India Assurance Company Limited (NICAL) is now inviting applications for the recruitment of Administrative Officers (Generalists and Specialists) (Scale-I). All interested and eligible candidates can apply for the given vacancy via the official website, newindia.co.in. The deadline to submit the registration form is September 29.

This recruitment drive will fill up 170 vacant posts in the organisation, out of which 50 are Accounts vacancies and 120 are Generalist Vacancies.

NICAL AO Recruitment 2024: Eligibility Criteria

Age Limit: Candidates applying for the given posts must be between 21 to 30 years of age as of September 1.

Educational Qualification- 

Generalists: A bachelor’s or postgraduate degree in any discipline from a recognised university with at least 60 per cent marks (General category) and 55 per cent (SC/ST/PwBD category).

Accounts: Chartered Accountant (ICAI)/ Cost and Management Accountant (The Institute of Cost Accountants of India, earlier known as ICWAI) and Graduation/Post Graduation in any discipline with minimum 60 per cent marks for General Category students and 55 per cent for SC, ST, PwBD. Or MBA Finance/PGDM Finance/M.Com with 60 per cent (General) and 55 per cent (SC, ST, PwBD).

NICAL AO Recruitment 2024: Selection Process

The selection process consists of three rounds, that is, the Prelims Exam, the Mains Exam, and the Interview Round. Candidates need to clear all three rounds. The final selection will be based on the combined scores from the main examination (objective test) and the interview. The final merit list will be generated in descending order of aggregated marks obtained by the candidates.

The Phase 1 online examination (Objective) will reportedly be administered on October 13, while the tentative date for the Phase II online examination (Objective+ Descriptive) is November 17.
