The National Institute of Design (NID) has released the Design Aptitude Test (DAT) 2024 prelims result for Bachelor of Design (BDes) programmes. Candidates who appeared for the examination can access and download their NID DAT BDes 2024 results by visiting the official website at admissions.nid.edu. Candidates will require their login credentials such as email address and date of birth to access their NID DAT BDes results 2024. The NID DAT preliminary examination was conducted on December 23, 2023.

Candidates can follow these simple steps to access and download NID DAT BDes Prelims Result 2024:

Step 2: Click on the ‘Check DAT BDes prelims result 2024’ link located on the homepage

Step 3: You will be directed to a login page. Enter your required credentials to log in.

Step 4: Your NID DAT BDes Prelims Result 2024 will be displayed on the screen. Review the result carefully.

Step 6: Download and take a printout for future reference.

Candidates who successfully qualify for the NID DAT BDes Prelims examination will be eligible to appear in the BDes Mains exam 2024. The main exams comprise studio tests and personal interviews. The studio test will evaluate the individual’s practical skills, problem-solving capabilities and creativity through hands-on activities, whereas, the personal interview will analyse the candidate’s experience, views on design and communication skills for their overall compatibility with the BDes program.

NID DAT BDes Prelims Result 2024: What Happens In Cases Of Tie?

Here are the following tie-breaking criteria in cases of a tie:

–– The first preference will be given to the candidate scoring more marks in the part B section of the DAT Prelims.

–– Even if this fails to resolve the tie, the priority will then shift to the candidate who has scored higher marks in part A section of the DAT prelims.

–– If the tie persists despite these measures, both candidates will be allocated the same rank.

The NID DAT BDes Mains examination is scheduled to be held on April 27 and 28. The eligible candidates will be able to download their NID DAT BDes Mains admit card from April 14, 2024. The results of the NID DAT BDes Mains Exam 2024 will be declared on May 21, 2024, as per the official schedule.
