The recruitment drive is being conducted to fill up 139 posts in higher secondary schools functioning under SC/ST Development Department.

Odisha Public Service Commission (OPSC) has notified the recruitment of Post Graduate Teachers for various subjects under science stream at www.opsc.gov.in. Candidates can check the recruitment notification and apply for the same on or before April 23. The recruitment drive is being conducted to fill up 139 posts in higher secondary schools functioning under SC/ST Development Department. The shortlisted candidates will be paid in the pay band of Rs 44,900 in Level 10. Read the eligibility criteria, selection process and other details below:

OPSC PGT recruitment 2021 eligibility criteria:

Essential qualification: Applicant must have completed Master’s Degree in the relevant subject with at least 50 percent marks in aggregate from any recognised university. Those who have passed two years integrated Post Graduate M.Sc Course with minimum 50% marks from Regional College of Education NCERT are also eligible to apply.

Age limit: Candidates should be between 21 to 32 years of age.

Other requirements: Applicants must know to read, write and speak Odia language

OPSC PGT recruitment 2021: How to apply

Step 1. Visit the homepage of OPSC official website at opsc.gov.in.

Step 2. Go to the ‘Apply Online’ tab.

Step 3. Once the application window is activated, click on the link for PGT recruitment 2021.

Step 4. Register yourself by filling up the required details and save the registration credentials.

Step 5. Complete the application process and submit.

Step 6. Make the payment of application fee and download a copy of the confirmation page.

OPSC PGT recruitment 2021: selection process

The applicants will be shortlisted on the basis of written exam as well as interview or Viva Voce test. The written examination will be of 150 marks and the questions will be asked from General English, Computer Aptitude, Pedagogy, General Knowledge and the relevant subject for which the candidates have applied.
