The Rajasthan Board of Secondary Education released the Class 12 results on Monday. Rajasthan Board has declared the results of all streams on its official website rajeduboard.rajasthan.gov.in. Board Administrator Maheshchand Sharma declared the results through a press conference In Rajasthan. Girl students dominated in the Arts, Science and Commerce streams. The educational hub of the country, Kota, known for its numerous coaching centres for the preparation of competitive exams like IIT and NEET, has performed well too. Sanjana Dabi has topped the Class 12 board exams from the district of Kota.
Sanjana Dabi has scored an impressive 96.20 per cent in the commerce stream. Sanjana is the daughter of a tailor, who works around the clock to make ends meet. Sanjana did not let the adverse financial conditions of her family affect her studies. Studying at DPS Public School located in Prem Nagar, she used to study for 5 to 6 hours every day. Sanjana wants to prepare for UPSC and become an IAS officer.
While Sanjana hit the bull’s eye in the commerce section, Uma Gurjar of Kota has secured 96.20% in Arts, becoming the district topper in the stream. Her was a struggle that is inspiring beyond words. Her father passed away 7 months ago and she had to prepare for the exam while grieving for her deceased father. A student of Star Public Senior Secondary School, Uma Gurjar also battled financial constraints. Especially after her father, the only breadwinner of the family passed away, things took a drastic turn.
Uma’s mother Foranti Bai worked as a domestic help in the homes of others to run the family. Uma has said that the teachers of her school, especially a teacher named Ravindra Sharma became like a father figure to her and gave her a lot of support. Just like Sanjana, she also wants to appear for the UPSC exams and become an IAS officer.
