SBI Launches Recruitment Drive For Sportspersons: Apply For Officer And Clerk Posts

Every year, millions of people appear for various government job entrance examinations. For individuals seeking jobs at government banks, there is an excellent opportunity. The State Bank of India has reportedly announced a recruitment drive for the posts of Officer (sportsperson) and Clerk (sportsperson). According to the official notification published by SBI, a total of 68 seats will be filled through this recruitment drive. The application process has already started and is set to continue till August 14. Candidates are advised to complete the application process before the last date to avoid last-minute hassle.

Number of Seats

• Officer (Sportsperson)- 17 seats
• Clerk (Sportsperson)- 51 seats

Salary: 

• Officer (Sportsperson)- Candidates who will be selected for this position will receive a monthly salary of Rs 85,920.
• Clerk (Sportsperson)- Candidates selected for this position will receive a monthly remuneration of Rs 64,480.

Age Limit: 

• Officer (Sportsperson)- Candidates who wish to apply for this position should be aged between 21 and 30 years.
• Clerk (Sportsperson)- The minimum age limit for this role is 20 years while the maximum age limit is 28 years.

Eligibility Criteria: 

• Candidates who wish to apply for the above-mentioned positions should have a graduate degree from any recognised university or institution.
• The candidates must have represented India in any international event in the field of sports in the last three years.
• Candidates must have represented any state in any national competition represented the district in a state-level competition represented the university in any inter-university competition or have been a member of a combined university team with distinction.

Application Fee: 

According to the official notification, candidates must pay the application fee through online mode. The for General, EWS and OBC candidates is Rs 750. There is no application fee for  SC, ST and PwBD candidates.
