The registration window for the Symbiosis Law Admission Test (SLAT) 2025 officially began on August 16 with the last date for submitting applications being November 22, 2024. Aspiring candidates can now apply online through Symbiosis International University’s official website: set-test.org. According to the schedule, the SLAT 2025 examination will be administered on December 13 and December 15, 2025.
SLAT 2025: Eligibility Criteria
Candidates must have passed their class 12 examination or equivalent examination from a recognised board. General category candidates need a minimum of 45 per cent marks in their Class 12 exam to apply for SLAT 2025. Whereas the SC/ST category candidates require a minimum of 40 per cent marks to apply for SLAT 2025. Students who have already appeared in their Class 12 final exam and are waiting for their results can also apply.
SLAT 2025: Steps to Register
Step 1: Visit the official website: set-test.org
Step 2: Click on the “New Registration” button.
Step 3: Enter your basic details, academic details, mobile number, and email address.
Step 4: Pay the registration fee to complete the SLAT registration process.
Step 5: Log in again using the SLAT ID and password that you will receive via SMS and email after completing the registration.
Step 6: Fill out the application form.
Step 7: Pay the SLAT institution fee you want to apply for to complete the application process.
Step 8: Take a screenshot or printout of it for future reference.
SLAT 2025: Application Fee
There will be two types of fees that the candidates need to pay for SLAT 2025. The registration fee for SLAT 2025 is Rs 2,250 and the institute fee (for one Symbiosis Law School) is Rs 1,000.
The SLAT 2025 is an entrance exam conducted by Symbiosis International University (SIU) for admission to its undergraduate law programs. It is a key exam for students seeking to join the Bachelor of Arts and Bachelor of Laws (BA LLB) or Bachelor of Business Administration and Bachelor of Laws (BBA LLB) programs offered by Symbiosis Law Schools across India.
SLAT 2025: Exam Pattern
The examination will be conducted in a computer-based online mode. The paper will be divided into five sections: Logical Reasoning, Legal Reasoning, Analytic Reasoning, Reading Comprehension and General Knowledge. The examination will be based on multiple-choice questions (MCQs) The total marks of the paper is 60 and for every correct answer the candidate will be awarded 1 mark. There is no negative marking for incorrect answers. The duration of the examination is 1 hour.
According to the Symbiosis Law School admission policy, 70 per cent weightage will be given to the marks obtained in the entrance exam and the remaining 30 per cent for the personal interview round.
