The Commission has rolled out the GD Constable Admit Card specifically for the Northwestern Region. The hall tickets for other regions will be released shortly

The Staff Selection Commission (SSC) issued the SSC GD Constable Admit Card 2024 on February 7. Candidates registered for the Constable (General Duty) position can download their hall tickets from the SSC’s regional website at sscnwr.org. It’s important to note that the Commission has rolled out the GD Constable Admit Card specifically for the Northwestern Region (NWR). The hall tickets for other regions will be released in due time.

According to the timetable, the Commission has scheduled the recruitment examination for Constable (GD) positions in Central Armed Police Forces (CAPFs), SSF, and Rifleman (GD) positions in the Assam Rifles Examination, 2024, on the following dates: February 20, 21, 22, 23, 24, 26, 27, 28, 29, March 1, 5, 6, 7, 11, and 12. The recruitment drive aims to fill a total of 26,146 vacancies for Constable (GD) roles.

Here’s how candidates can effortlessly procure their SSC GD Constable Admit Card 2024:

  • Step 1: Visit the official website of the regional SSC website.
  • Step 2: Find and click on the GD Constable admit card link featured on the homepage.
  • Step 3: Upon clicking, a new page will appear on your screen. Proceed to finish your registration and then click on submit.
  • Step 4: Your SSC Constable hall ticket will be displayed on the screen.
  • Step 5: Download the admit card and ensure to secure a hard copy for future reference.

Candidates are advised to stay updated by regularly checking the official website of the SSC at ssc.nic.in for any further updates or announcements regarding the recruitment process.

SSC GD Constable 2024 Selection Process

The selection process for SSC GD Constable comprises four stages:

1. Computer-Based Test (CBT): This test is conducted on a computer and assesses candidates’ knowledge across various subjects, their critical thinking abilities, and basic mathematical skills. The test lasts for 2 hours and includes 200 questions.

2. Physical Efficiency Test (PET) and Physical Standard Test (PST): These tests evaluate your physical fitness and strength. PET includes tasks like running, long jump, and high jump, while PST examines factors such as height, weight, chest size, and eyesight.

3. Medical Test: This ensures that candidates are in good health to join the forces. It involves a general physical check-up, blood tests, X-rays, and any other necessary medical assessments.

4. Document Verification: This stage reviews candidates’ original documents, including school certificates, any special certificates, and character certificates, to authenticate their validity.
