The West Bengal Board Council of Higher Secondary Education ( WBCHSE) is set to release the 12th results today, May 8, 2024, at 1 pm. Candidates eagerly awaiting their 12th examination results can access the official website, wbresults.nic.in and also wbchse.wb.gov.in. The Higher Secondary West Bengal results will be announced for all three streams including Science, Commerce, and Arts. How to check the WB 12th result 2024 online?
Step 1 — Go to the official website — wbresults.nic.in or wbchse.wb.gov.in
Step 2 — On the homepage, click on the link West Bengal Higher Secondary Examination results 2024.
Step 3 — After entering, enter all the necessary credentials.
Step 4 — Now click on submit to proceed.
Step 5 — The result will be displayed on the screen.
Step 6 — Download and print a copy for future preference.

Step 1: Go to the DigiLocker app on your phone and click on sign-up.

Step 4: After logging in, look for WB 12th Result 2024 under the ‘education’ section.

Once the result is announced the students should be careful about the following details in their marksheet. This scorecard will be useful for their further reference.

It is to be noted that the results will be fully announced in online mode. Students are required to take the original mark sheet from their respective schools by the end of May.
After the declaration of results, students can also apply for revaluation if they are not satisfied with the percentage. The date for the revaluation will be announced after the declaration of the result. The student must submit applications online for the evaluation process. Applicants must also complete the form and pay the necessary amount before the deadline.
Students who will get a compartment for any subject will be given a chance to reappear for the exam. The date for the compartment exam will be announced later by the State Board.
This year WBCHSE conducted the exam from 16 to 29th February 2024. Last year the results of the Class 12 Board test were released on May 24, 2023. Out of 8,24,891 applicants, 7,37,807 passed the exam with a total of 89.25 percent.
Students who will pass the higher secondary examination will be able to pursue further studies. Candidates can choose and start applying to college according to their subject stream. Candidates can also apply for short-term diploma courses to get into a job earlier. It is suggested to choose the right degree in which the candidate has an interest.
