The West Bengal Board of Secondary Education Class 10 board examinations kickstarted on February 2 and will conclude on February 12. The West Bengal Madhyamik schedule for the year 2024 is available on its official website- wbbse.wb.gov.in. Students can also find exam dates, timings and instructions. These exams are being held in different centres where the administration is also trying to provide all the help needed to the examiners.
Lakhs of students appear to take the Board examinations. Amidst this, one such student is Vishnu Basak, who can neither stand nor walk. On the first day of the exam, his father carried Vishnu in his arms to the examination centre. Vishnu Basak is a resident of Simla village which falls under Nasaratpur Panchayat, East Block No. 1, West Bengal.
Vishnu Basak is a student of Paruldanga Nasaratpur High School in Gopinathpur. His father, Bimal Basak mentioned that Vishnu’s friends and classmates helped him a lot to take the board exams. Reportedly, the student did not get any special facilities to study and did it all by himself. Bimal Basak shared that he feels proud of himself. However, his father remains concerned about how will Vishnu succeed in his career even if he clears his boards.
As per reports, Vishnu Basak couldn’t go to school. So, his father decided to hire a private tutor for him so he could study at home. Vishnu prepared for his board exams with the help of his tutor. Despite facing numerous obstacles and challenges, he held his head high, as he did not let his body define him. Even though he could not stand or walk, he wrote the whole paper without any help with his own hands. Reportedly, he aims to take all the papers by himself without any help.
