The wedding season in India is fast approaching, and fashion enthusiasts are in for a treat with the launch of designer Masaba Gupta’s latest bridal collection under her brand, The House Of Masaba. This new collection is a beautiful fusion of India’s regal heritage and contemporary design, paying homage to the modern woman who proudly embraces her true self in all its facets. In a recent Instagram post, Masaba Gupta introduced her collection through their very first Masaba bride, the ever-so-gorgeous – Kareena Kapoor Khan.
The collection celebrates strength, independence, and individuality, capturing the essence of a woman whose beauty and charm are unforgettable. Describing their idea behind the new range, the House of Masaba wrote, “Very rarely do you come across a face that is haunting, beautiful, memorable and makes you want to be as you are.”

Let’s delve into some of the standout pieces from this extraordinary bridal collection:
The first standout piece from her collection is an ‘Ochre Neel-Kamal Lehenga,’ priced at rupees 250,000. It features Sonchampa and Narangi Bagh prints. It is a mustard-coloured lehenga set in raw silk fabric. It comes along with a silk blouse and organza dupatta.
According to the House of Masaba Website, the lehenga features three shades of yellow – surajmukhi, sona, and khaakhi. It has son-chidiya, neel-kamal, haathphool & jaali motif, embellished in dori, sitara & moti work, with a beautifully embroidered border on the hem. The blouse is adorned with trikone embroidery and has a V neckline with a mix of digital print and embroidered borders. The Dupatta is made of organza with neel-kamal embroidery all over. The bustier is adorned with an all-over digital print and a variety of stones.
The lehenga pairs beautifully with classic and statement gold jewellery and heels. It can be layered with a dupatta for a traditional touch or worn stylishly over one shoulder.
The second outfit that Kareena showcased in the video is called a ‘White Son Chidiya Cape Set’ that costs rupees 75,000.
It is a fusion set of sequined georgette skirts and a raw silk bralette. To make it even more unique, it comes will a cape.
The Skirt has a sitara skirt with a back slit. The bralette is embellished with sitara and moti work, featuring detachable fabric straps. The Cape is made of tulle and adorned with oversized son-chidiya motifs.
This Skirt set pairs perfectly with statement earrings, a delicate bracelet, and comfortable heels. The ensemble can also be layered with the beautiful cape for an after-party look.
The third and most striking piece from the collection is a ‘Red Son-Patti Saree’ which, according to House of Masaba, is available with or without a salwar. It cost rupees 100,000.
The red-coloured saree is made of crepe silk with a raw silk blouse piece. This one has a tulle veil.
The Saree features intricate embroidery with signature motifs – son-patti, son-chidiya & trikone in dori and sitara work. The Blouse piece is embroidered with trikone motifs, and the salwar is a gold foil-printed patiala with ornate borders. The Veil is intricately embroidered with a signature chaand-phool motif and features a madakal finish.
You can pair this beautiful saree with precious jewellery made of stones, ruby gems, and high heels. The look can be enhanced by adding a Patiala Salwar, and the veil can be draped over the head or worn as a pallu over one shoulder for an elevated look.
