London: Manchester City have signed Spain winger Jesus Navas from Sevilla, their second major move of the offseason.

City say in a statement Tuesday that the "27-year-old right winger has completed a medical in New York and will meet up with the Blues squad after the Confederations Cup and a short holiday."

No details were given about the deal, but British media reported Navas had cost City an initial fee of 14.9 million pounds ($23.2 million).

Navas says "Manchester City is an exciting project and this is the right moment for me to take this step."

Last week, City signed Brazil's Fernandinho from Shakhtar Donetsk.

Details of that deal weren't disclosed, but reports put Fernandinho's fee at around 35 million pounds ($54.7 million) and the contract at five years.
