Napoli president admits he is interested in selling Edinson Cavani to sign Manchester City's Edin Dzeko.
Milan: Napoli president Aurelio De Laurentiis denies meeting former Chelsea coach Rafael Benitez on Monday but admits he is interested in selling Edinson Cavani to sign Manchester City's Edin Dzeko.
Napoli is in the hunt for a new manager after Walter Mazzarri announced his departure. De Laurentiis says on Tuesday, "I didn't go to London to meet with Benitez ... it's true though that I've spoken with a lot of coaches in the last six months."
Cavani finished as top goal-scorer in Serie A with 29, and City is one of the few clubs which could afford the fee Napoli will demand for the Uruguayan.
De Laurentiis adds, "I told (sporting director Riccardo) Bigon 'go to City to negotiate for Dzeko and ask what they are ready to do for Cavani.'"
