Joining a Group
Open Roblox. You can use the Roblox app for mobile or console, desktop application for PC, or in a web browser at https://www.roblox.com/. If you aren't already logged into your Roblox account, do so now.
Select Groups. On the website, this is in the left panel. On mobile and console, you may need to select the menu icon first.
Select the search bar. This is at the top of the screen.
Enter the group name. If you don't know the name of the group you want to join, you can enter keywords to search for available groups. For example, if you're looking for a group that has interest in anime, type "anime".
Select a group. You'll be redirected to the group's page. You can read their About section, see their Experiences, members, and more.
Select Join Group. This is next to the group's name. If you can't join a group, you may need to be approved manually by the group's owner. In this case, you'll need to wait to be approved. Some groups may require you to complete certain tasks before you're approved, such as sending a Personal Message to join. You may be able to find this in the group's About section.
Creating a Group
Open Roblox. If you aren't already logged into your Roblox account, do so now. You need 100 Robux to create a group. Buy more Robox if needed before continuing.
Select Groups. On the website, this is in the left panel. On mobile and console, you may need to select the menu icon first.
Select Create. This is on the left of the page.
Enter the group details. You'll need to input the group name, description, and emblem. Group names must be under 50 characters. This can't be changed, so make sure the spelling is correct. Select Settings and choose a group entry setting, such as Manual Approval.
Select 100 to purchase the group. The group will be created. You can now start recruiting members.
Troubleshooting
Leave a few groups. If you can't join a group, you may be near the 100 group limit. Roblox won't notify you if you hit the limit, so leave a few groups before you try joining a new one.
Restart Roblox. If you don't see the Join Group button, restart the app or website. Then, try again.
