The controversial reality show Bigg Boss Telugu’s 7th season started to premiere on television on September 3. It is currently premiering on the TV channel Star Maa and Disney+Hotstar. Hosted by Nagarjuna Akkineni, the show has entered into its 12th week of nomination now.
Eight people have been nominated including Shivaji, Prince Yawar, Gautham Krishna, Pallavi Prashanth, Amardeep Chowdary, Ambati Arjun, Ashwini and Rathika Rose. The social media users have started voting for their favourite contestants. As per an unofficial report, Amardeep is safe from eviction with 31 per cent of the votes. Prashanth has secured the second place. Shivaji is in the third position. Ashwini has occupied the lowest rung of the tally with the lowest number of votes. There are chances that Ashwini will likely be eliminated during this week, according to reports.
Amongst the nominated contestants, Shivaji has been one of the most popular ones, in the BB Telugu house. He is known for his humorous and strategic approach. The housemates, however, got to see a different side of his personality during the nomination round. Shivaji’s tone was devoid of any kind of humour while nominating her fellow contestants.
Shivaji had nominated Gautham and cited his performance in the balancing task for this nomination. Shivaji also cited other reasons for his choice of nomination. Shivaji, however, couldn’t present a compelling argument when Gautham sought clarification point by point. This tense environment created by Shivaji escalated further when he nominated Ambati Arjun. Prince Yawar and another housemate Priyanka Jain also raised questions over Shivaji’s way of nominating the candidates.
As of now, Kiran Rathore, Shakeela, Damini, Rathika, Subhashree Rayaguru, Nayani Pavani, and Pooja Murthy have been evicted from the show. This is the first time in the history of Bigg Boss Telugu that 7 female contestants have been evicted.
In week 8, however, Rathika re-entered the show. She and actor Tasty Teja were the contestants who got the least number of votes. Rathika feared nomination and pleaded with Nagarjuna to provide with her another chance. She was saved and Tasty Teja was evicted from the show in the 9th week.
