Tollywood actor-producer Bandla Ganesh has given memorable performances in several films. He catapulted to fame with the film Gabbar Singh, directed by Harish Shankar. Besides his films, he remains in the news for his strong comments and opinions on issues. This time, he is in the limelight for his comments on actor and Jana Sena party chief Pawan Kalyan, and the Telangana Congress chief Revanth Reddy. In the recently-held Telangana elections, Congress won 64 assembly seats in the 119-member assembly and attained a 39.40 percent vote share. In an interview with a portal, Bandla came up with a word of advice for Pawan Kalyan. Bandla Ganesh said that Pawan should follow the road map curated by Revanth, if he wants to succeed in politics. Jana Sena candidates lost all the eight seats in Telangana from where they contested. Bandla said, “I say with pain … It would have been better if Pawan Kalyan had not contested Telangana. His level is different … I want to see him somewhere … but he is staying here”.
Bandla Ganesh said that Revanth Reddy doesn’t have any family background in politics; despite this, he said Revanth has become the Chief Minister of Telangana by proceeding at a gradual pace in politics. Bandla also appreciated Revanth, calling him “a bigger hit than Baahubali”.
Bandla also proclaimed his allegiance to the Indian National Congress in politics. He said that he would only work for the Congress. Bandla had earlier joined the party as well. He, however, quit active politics after the loss of the party in the 2018 Telangana Assembly elections. There were reports that he would join the Jana Sena, but that didn’t happen. Bandla revealed the reason for the same in an interview with the M9 portal. He said, “I can’t explain why I like Pawan. Do you have an answer to why do you like your parents? So is the case with me towards him, Having said that I didn’t join Jana Sena. Right from the initial days, I have been a supporter of Congress. I don’t like myself joining one party, and jumping to another party. Being a supporter of Congress I want to be faithful to one party. Irrespective of that I am a well-wisher of Pawan.”
