A 10-year-old girl from Mullampara, Manjeri, Kerala has recently added her name to the Guinness World Record on March 28, 2024. According to reports, the girl is named Juwairiya P. She has made a record for the most knee to elbow steps in 30 seconds (Under 16). She has completed 54 steps in 30 seconds. Earlier, the record was 16 steps, and it was made by a European. In a recent media interaction, Juwairiya shared that her father, Salim Padavanna, is her inspiration. Three Guinness World Records have already been achieved in her house. Juwairiya is a 5th grade student at Mancheri Blossom Public School. She has achieved this feat by following in the footsteps of her father Salim Padavanna, who holds the Guinness record for eating a banana without using his hand in a span of 8.57 seconds. On the other hand, her sister Ayesha Sultana, holds the Guinness record for arranging books in alphabetical order in the fastest time of 16.50 seconds.
Salim Padavanna is a native of Malappuram Manjeri and a custodian of heritage objects. Her mother is Rasheeda Mannungachali. She also has a brother, P Muhammad Shahin, along with 3 sisters, Manal, Shasana, and Ayesha Sultana.
Juwairiya’s record-breaking achievement not only highlights her dedication and skill but also reflects the inspiring environment created by her family, where pushing boundaries and achieving greatness is part of their legacy.

Josukutty Elbin of Kerala applied ten surgical masks while blindfolded in 11.56 seconds, according to Guinness World Records (GWR). This was carried out shortly after the pandemic on October 10, 2023. Josukutty was able to set this record at his school.
