2 commit suicide in separate incidents

BANGALORE: In separate incidents, two persons including a retired professor committed suicide in the city.Vijay Kumar, 63, a retired professor of a private college and a resident of Tyagarajanagar, committed suicide by hanging himself at his residence on Friday. Though the reason for the suicide is not clear, it is suspected that financial problems could have led him to take the extreme step.Tyagarajangar police have registered a case in this connection.In other incident, Shwetha Sri (19), a PUC drop out, hanged herself at her residence in K P Agrahara on Saturday. Her parents had gone out when she took the extreme step. Problems in love life is suspected to  be the reason for suicide.KP Agrahara police have registered a case and further investigation is on in this regard.
