2 die in accidents

BHUBANESWAR: Two persons died in two accidents here on Wednesday. The driver of an auto-rickshaw died when the vehicle was hit by a truck near Vani Vihar square. A couple and a child were in the auto when the mishap occurred. While the driver Nrushingh Charan Jena died on his way to hospital, the other three sustained injuries. They have been admitted to a hospital. The truck driver managed to flee following the mishap. A case has been registered. In another accident, one Chittaranjan Behera died when his two-wheeler was hit by a passenger bus near Palasuni bridge. Behera died on the spot. The errant bus driver Prabhakar Barik has been arrested.
