Aarushi case: Rajesh Talwar to appeal in SC
Rajesh wants to challenge the court order that made him an accused in the 2008 Aarushi Talwar murder case.

New Delhi: A day after a court issued a notice to Rajesh Talwar in the 2008 Aarushi Talwar murder case, the dentist father is likely to approach Supreme Court again to challenge being made an accused.

The Allahabad High Court had on Tuesday issued him a notice after the CBI filed an application seeking the cancellation of his bail.

The CBI has contested the decision saying that the Supreme Court's order was wrongly interpreted by the lower court.

The CBI had earlier sought the cancellation of the bail of Talwar and had asked for judicial custody of his wife Nupur Talwar.

Rajesh and his wife Nupur have been accused by the CBI of being involved in the murder of their teenaged daughter Aarushi in May 2008.

Aarushi , 14, was found dead inside her Noida residence in May, 2008 with her throat slit and the body of the Talwars' domestic servant Hemraj was recovered from the terrace hours later.

An outcry against the shoddy investigation by Uttar Pradesh police had led to the then Mayawati government in Uttar Pradesh handing over the case to the CBI.
