The actor and his wife of 16 years want to go their separate ways
Tamil actor and businessman Arvind Swamy has filed for divorce with his wife Gayatri.
Swamy made his film debut in Mani Ratnam's Thalapathi in 1991, where he played a character based on Mahabharata's Arjun. He starred in a lead role in Roja, Bombay and many other films.
The actor and his wife have filed for divorce under mutual consent due to domestic disharmony. They got married in 1994 and have a son and a daughter.
Swamy is the CMD of Talent Maximus. He was the chairman of ProLease India and InterPro India earlier.
