All is not lost for Ganguly: More
He was in the list of 30 probables for the Malaysia tri-series and Champions Trophy but not named in the final XV.

New Delhi: Former India skipper Sourav Ganguly need not worry about his international career coming to a premature end.

On Friday the chairman of the India's national cricket selection committee, Kiran More, said that the doors were not closed on Sourav Ganguly.

"I reiterate that the doors are not closed on any player, including Sourav Ganguly," he said after the practice match between India Seniors XI and India Juniors at Chepauk Stadium.

Ganguly was named in the list of 30 probables for the Malaysia tri-series and the Champions Trophy but not selected in the final XV.

The left-hander is currently playing the Moin-ud-dwala tournament in Hyderabad.

Asked about the chances of Lakshmipathy Balaji making a comeback to the national side, More said that Balaji needed to play in at least seven domestic matches before the committee has a look at him.

The Malaysia tri-series begins on September 12 and India play its first match against the West Indies on September 14. World champions Australia are the third team.
