AP: CM inaugurates headquarters of anti-terror unit OCTOPUS

The building, constructed at the cost of Rs five crore,has a state-of-the-art conference hall and communicationnetwork. The work was executed by the Andhra Pradesh StatePolice Housing Corporation Ltd. The Chief Minister also reviewed the activities ofOCTOPUS and the construction work of Commando Training Centreat Ibrahimpatnam. Several issues pertaining to the policedepartment were discussed, an official release said. He also saw the sophisticated firearms accessories andequipment used by the OCTOPUS commandos.
