Joseph told PTI that Asaram has been moved out of Indore city but declined to disclose where he would be put up for the night.
Arrested religious preacher Asaram Bapu, accused of sexually assaulting a 16-year-old girl, will be brought to Jodhpur on Sunday, city Police Commissioner Biju George Jospeh said late on Saturday night.
Joseph told PTI that Asaram has been moved out of Indore city, where he was arrested, but declined to disclose where he would be put up for the night.
"We are planning to bring him to Jodhpur on Sunday morning but are yet to decide whether he will be brought by train, road or by air", he said.
Meanwhile, SSP Indore Rakesh Gupta told PTI that Asaram has been lodged inside Indore airport and would be taken to Delhi by a morning flight on Sunday, and then to Jodhpur. Security around Indore airport has been beefed up.
