Incheon: Indian boxer Shiva Thapa advanced to the quarter-finals of the bantamweight (56kg) category at the 17th Asian Games here Friday.

The 20-year-old took just a minute and five seconds, recording a round one TKO-I win over the Pakistani fighter.

Kuldeep Singh (men's light heavy-81kg), Akhil Kumar (men's light-60kg) and Amritpreet Singh(men's heavy-91kg) - all round of 16 matches - are the other Indians in the fray Friday.
