'Baby' trailer: It clearly puts forth the premise and mood of the film
Neeraj Pandey's 'Baby' trailer is possibly one of the finest we have seen in Bollywood this year.

Rarely do we get to see trailers in Hindi cinema that raise the bar along with the curiosity for the film. Going by that yardstick alone director Neeraj Pandey's 'Baby' reveals nothing, but says everything about the film that looks slick and intriguing.

The trailer begins with a grand aerial shot of the Istanbul landmark, Hagia Sophia, the church-turned-mosque-turned-museum, along with the monophonic voiceover of an extremist who is openly threatening to capture Kashmir; laying down the premise and the mood of the movie quite clearly.

There on the background score begins its rhythmic countdown as pivotal characters are revealed starting from Rasheed Naz, Akshay Kumar, Anupam Kher, Rana Daggubati, Taapsee Pannu, Danny Denzongpa to Kay Kay Menon. Following a graph, seen in A-list international action flicks like Bourne Series and Die Hard series, 'Baby' grabs your attention. Not many trailers elicits that feeling of thrill and make you laugh (watch how the trailer ends).

With smart use of pace-pause, music-silence in the visuals and sound (no interruption with item songs thank you) leading to an exciting crescendo makes Neeraj Pandey's 'Baby' trailer possibly one of the finest seen in Bollywood this year. Quite a cool trailer this.
