New Delhi: Whether Shashant A Shah's 'Bajatey Raho', a satire on corruption, will earn the wrath of those who blatantly partake in unscrupulous activities isn't clear. But what's certain is that the light-hearted comedy has managed to create a buzz for its impressive star cast, much-preferred Delhi setting and an innovative devotional song which is a version of Mika's popular Bollywood number, all adding to its Punjabi flavour.
'Bajatey Raho', which stars Dolly Ahluwalia, Tusshar, Vinay Pathak, Ranvir Shorey, Ravi Kishen, has been referred to as Bollywood's first ever revenge comedy.
But has the director seamlessly joined the fight between con and evil, and an earnest attempt to retain one's integrity and honour, and weaved them together into an uproarious drama? Will Shashant, who has films like 'Dasvidaniya' and 'Challo Dilli' to his credit, succeed in drawing viewers's attention to a
range of human experience with all its gloom, bliss, pathos and its depths through 'Bajatey Raho'?
