BANGALORE: While most newspapers think that ‘political news’ is the peg of the day, Law and Parliamentary Affairs Minister S Suresh Kumar begs to differ. According to him, newspapers should not publish any news pertaining to politics on its front page, at least once in a week.Many believes, any news, if related to public including political, economics or legal should be given prominence. In most cases, page one is filled with only political news. However, there are a few set of people who opines that there is limited space in newspapers to other stories and more prominence to scams and political news.City Express spoke to a cross-section of the society and the response was mixed.
