BANGALORE: Thieves are not even leaving policemen nowadays. On Thursday, two unidentified bike-borne miscreants robbed a personnel of intelligence police of Rs 2 lakh. The victim has been identified as Anjanappa, a resident of Madhura Nagara Main Road.
The incident occurred when he was talking on mobile after drawing the money from a bank on Varthur Road. Two miscreants who came on a motorbike snatched his cash bag and fled away. Varthur police have registered a case in this regard and are investigating.
It may be recalled here that, in two separate incidents, unidentified miscreants had robbed two bank staffers of Rs 45 lakh and a medical shop owner of Rs 10 lakh on Wednesday by diverting their attention, when they were carrying the money in their vehicles.
