New Delhi: Actress Pooja Bedi, who has been asked to stay away from the grand finale of the fifth season of reality television show Bigg Boss in which she was a participant, is angry at the Colors channel, production house and host Salman Khan for the turn of events.
The actress, daughter of veteran actor Kabir Bedi and Odissi exponent Protima Gauri Bedi, was in the limelight for endorsing Kama Sutra in the 1990s and went on to earn popularity for her Marilyn Monroe skirt act in 'Jo Jeeta Wohi Sikander'.
Bedi entered the 'Bigg Boss 5' house Oct 2, 2011, and she was evicted towards the end of November. Recently, the 41-year-old was in spotlight for her comments against 'Bigg Boss 5' host Khan, as she felt he hurt her fellow inmate and friend, Akashdeep Saigal aka Sky.
"Till the 1st of January all was fine & I was to perform at finale! What changed since is a MYSTERY &No explanation makes it almost sinister. Its bizarre that channel& production are both accusing each other 4 the decision to leave me out of finale! No GUTS/DECENCY to take a stand!" Bedi tweeted on Friday.
The finale of the reality show will be held Saturday. Among the final contestants are Juhi Parmar, Amar Upadhyay, Mahek Chahal, Siddharth Bharadwaj and Sky.
"I wonder why a channel would encourage contestant bashing publicly by holding such a press conference? Ugh!" she said referring to the press conference of ousted contestant Pooja Misrra.
Alluding to Akashdeep's spat with Mahek on Thursday, during which he called her "dhongi" or fake, Bedi said "when did dhongi become an abuse? Or is it being dramatised Mahek style to being the most horrible curse word? Grow up!" Mahek was visibly upset with Sky for being called fake and asked him not to abuse her.
Bedi went a step further and called Mahek an idiot. "And she said if he didn't weep blood her name is not mahek chahal! But we anyway know that's not her name! Ha ha!what an idiot!"
"Now want to see salman threaten mahek for saying she will make sky weep tears of blood outside house! Wasn't he against such threats?" Khan and co-host Sanjay Dutt have repeatedly reprimanded the housemates for cussing inside the house.
