New Delhi: Rajinder Singh Lodha, the man who was to inherit the Rs 5,000 crore fortune of Priyamvada Birla, died in London. With his death, all the court cases between him and the Birla family have also been put to rest.
Lodha inherited the Birla wealth based on the will of the late Priyamvada Birla.
He was the chartered accounted to the Birla's and came into the limelight after Priyamvada Birla left the entire family legacy to him. He died in London following a heart attack.
It's a ironic that RS Lodha sufferred a heart attack in the central London flat of B K Birla, whose son Aditya Vikram Birla was his closest friend.
B K Birla said Lodha's death has come as a huge shock to the entire family.
B K Birla said, "The pending court cases are not important anymore. He was a good, intelligent, nice and hard-working man. You see, he was good friends with my son Aditya. They went to the same college."
