Bishnoi Gang Member Gave Rs 25 Lakh Contract To Kill Salman Khan, Was In Touch With Pakistan Handler: Cops
The chargesheet was submitted after the police arrested Sukha alias Sukhbir Balbir Singh, on Wednesday, from Haryana's Panipat

A contract worth Rs 25 lakhs was allegedly given by a member of the Lawrence Bishnoi gang to kill Bollywood actor Salman Khan, according to a new chargesheet filed by Navi Mumbai Police.

The chargesheet was filed after the police arrested Sukha alias Sukhbir Balbir Singh on Wednesday in Panipat, Haryana. He is accused of hiring members of the Bishnoi gang to carry out the assassination.

The police also said that Sukha was in contact with his alleged handler, Dogar, who is based in Pakistan. Together with the Bishnoi gang members, they reportedly planned to use weapons sourced from Pakistan, including AK-47s, M16s, and AK92s, to execute their plot against the actor.

The chargesheet, which also named five other individuals, stated that Sukha had been hiring boys under the age of 18 to help with the plan to kill Khan.

These young individuals are currently believed to be hiding in Pune, Raigad, Navi Mumbai, Thane, and Gujarat, as per an NDTV report.

According to the chargesheet, around 60 to 70 people were monitoring Khan’s movements, particularly at his house in Bandra, his farmhouse in Panvel, and at Goregaon Film City. The scheme to kill Khan is said to have been executed between August 2023 and April 2024.

The chargesheet further reveals a plan devised by the shooters after they killed the 58-year-old Bollywood actor. It details that they would gather in Kanyakumari following the assassination, then travel by boat to Sri Lanka, and eventually move on to another country where Indian investigative agencies would not be able to reach them.
