New Delhi: Renowned Bollywood villain of yesteryears Gavin Packard surrendered to his ailment related to respiratory disorders on May 18, 2012. He breathed his last at a nursing center in Vasai around 4 am. As per the reports, Gavin had met with an accident few days back while riding his bike at Kalyan Flower Market. He had got severely injured in that accident.
He was admitted to the hospital only when some local residents recognised him. Medical examination had revealed that Gavin was highly drunk at the time of accident.
Gavin's wife had left him few days back when she moved to France with their daughter. The 48 year old actor was struggling to get roles in films before his unfortunate death.
A very common face of Bollywood films in 90s, Gavin has worked in films such as 'Sadak', 'Tridev', 'Karan Arjun', and 'Mohra'.
His funeral was held at St. Andrews Burial Grounds in Bandra on May 19. Though around 200 people came to the prayers, the film industry didn't have a single representative.
