New Delhi: Top seeds Rohan Bopanna and Aisam-ul-Haq Qureshi suffered a shocking defeat at the hands of Frederico Gel and Marcelo Melo to make an early exit from the ATP Tunis Open in Tunisia.
The Indo-Pakistani pair recovered well from the first set decicit but eventually lost the quarter-final encounter in the Super Tie-breaker 5-7 6-3 9-11.
This was Bopanna and Qureshi's first match of the USD 125,000 clay court event as the duo had got a walkover in the first round.
