Box Office: 'Resident Evil' at No. 1 with $21mn

Los Angeles: The fifth film in the 'Resident Evil' franchise is first at the box office. 'Resident Evil: Retribution' opened at No. 1 with just over $21 million, according to final studio figures Monday. Milla Jovovich returns to the role of the warrior Alice, fighting the undead in the Sony Screen Gems sci-fi series.
