BSF, Pakistani Rangers hold meeting in Jammu
A five-member BSF team discussed issues related to ceasefire violation with a four-member Pak Rangers's team in a cordial manner.

Jammu: The Border Security Forces (BSF) and Pakistani Rangers held casual contact meeting, second in less than a week, along International Border (IB) in RS Pura sector of Jammu district on Sunday.

A casual contact level meeting was held between Pak Rangers and BSF at Octerio Border Out Post (BOP) along International Border in RS Pura sector from 3:10 PM to 3:13 PM on Sunday, BSF sources said.

A five-member BSF team discussed issues related to ceasefire violation with a four-member Pak Rangers's team in a cordial manner.

The two sides committed to maintenance of peace along the border.

On November 3, a Commandant-Commander-level meeting of the Border Security Force and Pakistan Rangers was held in Samba sector of Jammu and Kashmir to reiterate commitment to peace along the Indo-Pak border during cultivation by farmers on both sides.
